The first cour of 2021 has officially kicked off 2 weeks ago! I am really excited about this cour as many great animes have their new seasons! Hopeful and sadly that these will last for 2 cour (meaning I probably need to wait half a year before embarking on them).

Let's jump onto those returning animes!

Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season (est. 16 episodes)

The final season is finally kicking off, I am sure many people are still confused at this point in time.. the timeline of Shingeki no Kyojin is really confusing and hopefully, we can get a good picture of the exact timeline + a good end.

Dr. Stone: Stone Wars (est. 11 episodes)

A little disappointing that there are only 11 episodes, probably like its title, it will cover the war that's gonna break out once winter ends. As much as we know Senku will definitely win but it is exciting to see what will happen and how will Senku win! Hopefully, there's a new season after this which shows why the human race was turned into stone.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season (est. unknown)

This is my #1 excitement that's finally here! I usually will spoil myself a little when I embark on a new title, and the first season stopped right before an exciting part. It will be interesting to follow the story and see it in animated. Thankfully, unknown episodes which probably means it might run for 2 cour.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2 (est. 12 episodes)

This probably will help us answer the ongoing stories from the first part, exciting to see how it unfold. Really interesting to see if any other witches will play a major scene here.

5-toubun no Hanayome ∬ (est. 12 episodes)

A decent slice of life 2nd season. 

Log Horizon: Entaku Houkai (est. 12 episodes)

Really love this series but the title sounds a bit scary. Literal and vaguely translated into the "destruction of the round table". Let's see how it goes!

Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan (est. unknown)

Hopeful for a long season, 4th season. But it starts to feel very draggy.. let's believe that it will end well. 

Yuru Camp Season 2 (est. 13 episodes)

This is probably one of the most underrated slice of life, and I highly recommend watching this if you didn't. It makes me feel like going camping.. hahah. 

Other returning anime that I'm less excited about; 

Majutsu Orphen Hagure Tabi: Kimluck-hen; a shyt-show to be honest, season 1 was bad even half way in.

World Trigger 2nd Season; my friend actually recommended the first season, but it is a little slow where I didn't really advance much, might try again.

Hataraku Saibou!!; not very exciting slice of life tbh.

Beastar 2nd Season; many of my friends recommended season 1 and said that it's actually interesting, might look at it again.

Yakusoku no Neverland 2nd Season; not a real fan of the first season tbh, felt overhyped.
